I bought one of the JP Ryan patterns while I was in Williamsburg. I'm probably going back down in the next couple of months so I might pick up a few more.
Make a muslin out of it first to see how much fabric you really need...or try to squeeze the pattern pieces on to the fabric. You can always piece the fabric to get it right. Piecing is very period.
