Ummm, say what?
Feb. 27th, 2010 08:14 pmI was looking on Etsy for some fun stuff and I saw this very pretty Elizabeth doublet gown. It really, truly, is quite nice and I really like it. It's the listing itself that had me giggling.
The title is : Renaissance Doublet Gown for Women (custom)
but in the listing it says: **The items pictured: forepart, hat, chemise, corset, fathingale, sleeves, and cape are not included in the design costs listed here. The doublet and skirt are not for sale. This is completely customizable. The cost varies dependent on materials and availability, and extra hand work that may be requested, i.e. extra bead work.**
...so, what is for sale again?
I'm pretty sure she meant that *that* particular doublet and skirt aren't for sale and the one you'd receive would be different from the one pictured; aka, made for you, but it just read sort of funny.
