For everyone in the DC area

Living Social is having a fabric deal for G Street. If you buy $25 you get $50 worth of fabric! It works for their trims as well. G Street is known for being pricy but the deal just might be worth it for their decor fabric selection and their trims.

Up on the other blog

Since it looks like LJ is acting up AGAIN, I've put my latest progress up on my other blog. The dress is a bit wrinkled -it's worse in the pictures than it really is because it's silk and we all know about silk + flash. It's not done yet but I did promise pictures so....

Regency Dress progress

The dress isn't done - I have to finish the sleeves and attach them but the main gown is finished. I tried it on over my 'danes and it fits really well. I'm sure it will fit perfectly over my short stays. I would like a new chemise, however, so I'll probably start on that tomorrow as well.

Also, if anyone needs/wants a dreamwidth invite. I have them. Just ask.

Random question: Did all BBC specials have only one "bird/nature" soundtrack through out the 70's and 80's? I was watching Pride and Prejudice yesterday and today I'm watching Elizabeth R. I swear it's the exact same bird tweeting sounds whenever the main characters are outside.
