:-) Then it's just me. That's okay. It was my first time actually attempting to follow a pattern for knitting rather than just going "I wonder what happens if I do this instead!" I was trying to follow this (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/petrastrickt/Stulpenchartengl.jpg) it just didn't come out right; especially at the start. It did get better as I went along (you can almost see a diamond-esque honeycomb shape at the top, really!). However, the old "let's see what this does!" basketweave came out far better. ...and that was because I thought it would look like a checkerboard....
