Alive!

I just got done with the very ridiculous training at work. Gah! Just gah!

I'm going to the beach in the morning so :-p

I'm taking embroidery because, yes, I know, it will rain. It's either embroidery or puzzles...and I've done every puzzle in the beach house at least three times. That, and I need to get some embroidery done. Badly.

I'll probably give up on the embroidery and come back with a new hand sewn gown...

...I'm bringing the pretty aqua silk....

....I need some pink velvet ribbons.....

Anyway, in real news. My truck is fine. It cost $400 to get it to fine but that's because rotors and new brake pads aren't cheap. Actually $400 isn't that bad for the work that was done but it's not exactly fun to spend that much money like that.

When I drove to training a couple of days ago, the brakes were making just a bit of a noise. I didn't think much of it until I drove it at lunch and it was just embarrassing. After the training class, I went straight to the dealer and dropped it off. That got fun since the dealer MOVED and I ended up having to spend a bit of time trying to find them in a truck that I'm terrified of driving around because of the brakes...

Anyway, I got it there and the lady at the dealership was quite nice. She moved my truck and basically said it wasn't drivable at all. Now it is but Mom & Dads BMW isn't! The seat won't move so I had to drive the BMW back and Mom had to drive my truck...not that she minded much. My truck may be a mess (I have stuff in the trunk like lanterns and a cot. I need to get the cot out and put it in Mom & Dad's garage but I keep forgetting) but it smells really good. Thank you yankee candle car fresheners! And, as Mom put it, she can see from my seat! In the BMW, I can barely see over the steering wheel! And I'm not exactly on the short side!
