I'm told by others that have similar epileptic fits -ie Grand Mals- that it's like getting hit by a freight train and you are just sore afterward. Aspirin helps with the soreness of the muscles and to increase blood flow.
I figure it can't hurt her. I'm willing to try anything that might help.
Just a slightly random question; have you tried giving your son Gatorade after a fit? I was told in the past to try it by both people with epilepsy and people with epileptic animals. I've noticed with my pup that it does decrease the "Dorthy Mode" (it's what my family calls the after-seizure because Ginsie runs around and sniffs everything with a look on her face like "And you were there! And you were there!" similar to Dorthy at the end of the Wizard of Oz). It also might be worth a shot to try...
