Italian Chemise

Thank you to vanityfairy for reminding me about waxing thread. It worked wonders for using the linen thread I have on the linen/cotton fabric. I now have one panel sewn and the other is half done. I might actually be able to wear the chemise this weekend!

After this, I think I might actually work on a 1490s Venetian dress or the 18th century Jacket out of the old sundress. Once those two are done, I need to work on a pair of stays for the 16th century and a 19th century corset...again.

:-) I need to work on the sleeves tonight. I'm rolling all the edges first and then piecing it together because this linen is fraying a bit. It's not horrid, but it wouldn't survive the washing machine as is.
