isabelladangelo | The Sept 11th outfit is done

I finished the skirts for the 9/11 garb. I wanted something patrotic but still garbish since if feels wrong to go anywhere on 9/11 without something patrotic on and it feels werid not going to the festieval in garb. Since I already had a red bodice out of corduroy, I decided to make a nice off white/tannish underskirt and a indigo blue linen overskirt. I don't know whether or not to wear a hoopskirt with it or not. I might add some trim to the bottom of the underskirt; again in red white and blue. I have 14 yards of it.

The underskirt is a 6 gored skirt out of crinkled cotton that I got from Wally World for a buck a yard. The overskirt is out of the 20 yards I originally had of the linen I mentioned in the rev gown entry. I made the bodice four years ago and it has been worn many times since then. It's slowly showing it's age but I think it will last at least another four. :-)

So, to hoopskirt or not to hoopskirt? Whadda y'all think?
