Tech-Head Moment

For anyone with a gmail/google account:

They are changing their TOS. If you do NOT go to "Shared Endorsements" and uncheck the box at the bottom, you are giving google free-reign to use your name and photo in their adverts for the entire world to see. No joke.

When it comes to shared endorsements in ads, you can choose whether your name and photo may be used to help your friends find stuff you love (and avoid stuff you don't) — you can control this with the setting at the bottom of this page.

Go. Uncheck the box - you should see an alert of some sort on your google page and you'll be able to find the "Shared Endorsements" from there.

I had to uncheck the box. It might be something I checked earlier (like share your likes with your circles) and forgot about. However, it's a good idea to make sure the box isn't checked with this going on.

The account I never use for my pg gmail was already unchecked. My other one that I sometimes use I had to actually unchecked. And yeah, it is a good thing to check.
