Posted some of my Pennsic Pictures

This was taken on the battlefield during hospitality right before Atlantia Court on Wednesday of war week. It was right before yet another storm blew through.

There is a story behind this video. Two days before, the Tuchux were heavily and completely defeated in battle. The day after the defeat, we saw a few of the weary Tuchux slowly making it down to the battlefield past my encampment. Only us girls were left at the encampment. See the downhearted Tuchux (who happen to think my encampment is "tricksy"), we started chanting "Tuchux" for them. They heard us. The Tuchux started to march in formation and chant "Tuchux! Tuchux!" as they went further down the hill. This was the next day.

:-) Next year, I'm taking Mom. She actually voluntarily said she wanted to come with me next year. I know I won't be able to drag Dad but it's a start!

The one thing you need to remember if you come to Pennsic is to put some garb into a plastic tub of some sort. The water rarely gets higher than a few inches but a few inches inside your tent equals wet garb and that's not fun. I was so proud of myself this year for being smart enough to keep a pink duffel bag in the truck of all my muggle clothing. I had a pair of jeans, two t-shirts, one long sleeved t-shirt, underclothing, and pjs. They all stayed nice and dry. With the way the weather was this year, if you had anything in your tent, no matter if you didn't actually get flooded, it got wet simply because of the humidity and the amount of water you tracked in.
