Writer's Block: Ghost Story

This one is so oddly appropriate for today. :-)
Yes, I know there are ghosts.
I've seen ghosts. I've heard ghosts. It's not fun when you are trying to go to sleep and you hear a (friendly) male voice that you don't know say "Hi!" as cheerfully as possible.
My parents house is haunted. We think the ghost's name is Frank, who was the original owner of the house back in the 50's and 60's. He's dressed in a very 50's/60's men's business outfit. My youngest brother, my Mom, and I have all seen him in the basement. We think all the dogs have too.
Dusty, the family dog who died back in 2003, went upstairs to my youngest brothers room a couple of times and would bark and growl at the attic door. Dusty never ever growled at anything or anyone.
Ginsie and Shiloh refuse to go down into the basement in the summer. I know the ghost is particularly active in August. I've seen things move, heard someone coming up the stairs, and heard a male talking. I think almost everyone in my family has heard him (Dad passes it off as the weird accoustics in the house).
So, yes, I do know there are ghosts. Or, at least there is Frank. And he's nice but likes to suddenly appear which makes him more like a spider and that's just creepy.
