Does this look something similar to a 16th c Italian shoe to anyone else?

It looks similar to chopines to me. Of course, they are very $$$ so no way I'm getting them right now but they are totally droolable.

They are still pricey but they've gone from "Umm, no" to "Well, maybe in a couple of months..."
