An actual sewing related post!
I cut out my "tea gown" for this weekend. (What was that about CADD?) It's actually a very simple outfit and I'll probably have pictures by tomorrow night. I'm using the very lovely embroidered cotton (?) I got from ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jennylafleur and the Swiss dot cotton remnants I got from bauhausfrau to make the dress. I'm aiming for neo-decorate but it's for Steampunk so I'm not going 100% authentic looking.
I'm also finishing up the denim bustle and I need to finish up the "sash" for the steampunk outfit I do have finished. Everything should be done by Thursday afternoon, hopefully. I don't mind a little handsewing during the weekend but I need to realize I can do about a yard of straight hem sewing in an hour. ;-)
