An actual sewing related post!

I cut out my "tea gown" for this weekend. (What was that about CADD?) It's actually a very simple outfit and I'll probably have pictures by tomorrow night. I'm using the very lovely embroidered cotton (?) I got from jennylafleur and the Swiss dot cotton remnants I got from bauhausfrau to make the dress. I'm aiming for neo-decorate but it's for Steampunk so I'm not going 100% authentic looking.

I'm also finishing up the denim bustle and I need to finish up the "sash" for the steampunk outfit I do have finished. Everything should be done by Thursday afternoon, hopefully. I don't mind a little handsewing during the weekend but I need to realize I can do about a yard of straight hem sewing in an hour. ;-)

I'm so sorry if we talked about this, but I have a terrible memory. You're going to the SPWF this weekend? Yay! I look forward to seeing you! We're staying at the Embassy Suites and will arrive Friday in time for the tea.

Yeap! I'll be there! I'm going to head up early Friday afternoon so, hopefully, I'll see you around tea time then. I didn't get tickets for the tea, unfortunately. Maybe they'll have other events going on at the time given the amount of people that are going?

I'm sure there will be lots to do. So many people wanted to get into the tea that couldn't get tickets, so I think they will be parading around the hallways. If we couldn't get tea tickets, my plan was to park myself outside the tea room and watch the attendees go in and out so I could see all the outfits.
