Crusades/Italian Medieval gown

I finished most of it. I need to redo the hem of the undergown but that's not exactly hard and won't take too long. I might make a pair of matching "pants" to go under the gown since it will be slightly warm tomorrow (84, woohoo!)
I don't like the way this picture came out. I made a simple non shaped surcote with the slightly underbust undergown. I added some pretty woven trim to the surcote to make it a little more fancy looking.

CLOSE UP! :-) I bought this trim years ago at one of the SCA silent auctions for about $3. It's only a couple of yards but that was just enough to go around the arm holes of the surcote.

Side view! This is really much closer to the true colors of the gown. I rather like this picture. You can get some idea of the shape of the sleeve.

Now to go finish hemming the undergown, sewing up the psuedo-venetian and then finish making my curtains!
