Yeap, we had tornado warnings and two inches of rain in an hour! Thank God for Sunbrella fabric. My tent was great. The rain just beaded right off of it. It was "wet" inside the tent but that was because of all the water I tracked in on my boots that went straight into the wool rug....and then wouldn't dry up! I stayed at my parents to use their extra large washing machine. It got the rug smelling nice again...and not like a strange science experiment.... But, I did have a good tent and a nice cot. I also had a big plastic bin I kept a few pieces of garb in in case everything really did get out of hand. I even had the foresight to put "muggle" clothing in a duffle bag and leave it in the truck. So I had nice dry clean clothing to wear when leaving the site. Thank goodness I had my brothers truck. I just put it in 4 lo and got out of the mud pit. I swear that there were spots with mud a good two or three feet deep!
