Question about my patriotic garb....

I'm sure if you search back, you'll find the posts on this garb. It's my patriotic 16th c garb...:-) I wear it typically the weekend that 9/11 comes closest to. It's not obnoxiously patriotic but most people recognize it's drastically different from my normal wear. This year, 9/11 falls on a Tuesday...just like it did in 2001. Normally, I'd wear this outfit on 9/9 since it's closest to the day...but I actually remember what I was doing on 9/9/01 and kinda feel like I should wear it on 9/15, the weekend after, instead. Any ideas on when I should wear the combo?
Just in case anyone is wonder, the bodice is corduroy, the overskirt is linen, and the underskirt is crinkle cotton. Maybe I should add a white linen apron and get rid of the underskirt? It would look more late 16th c....I have paintings to prove it!
