Silly stuff and an Update

I finished the clients gown. What happened: I had sewn the skirt on when I decided I didn't like the way the insert was placed....so I took the skirt off the bodice and then took the insert out and replaced it so it looked like an underskirt. Okay, not too bad. Then I realized that I had messed up, after I had sewn up the bodice, and the skirt was off center. So I had to take it apart, repostion it, sew it up. It was still off center. Take it apart again, repostion it. I finially got it right! I finished sewing it up, hand sewed the inside and the eyelets and sent it off today. I really hope they like it because it is a beautiful dress. It's italian styled out of burgundy cotton velvet with a whiteish jacquard insert.
Next on the list, finish the German Gown. Post pics of it and then start on my Italian Gown.
