working!

Just a quick update on what I'm doing. I started the client's eldest daughters gown...and I want to make one for myself! It's a bluish silver crushed velvet bodice, 12th century style (high waisted bodice for those not in the know) with a satin baby blue skirt and the gorgeous blue sheer poly organza with silver stars on it for the sleeves. It's really coming along and I just adore it. I also made her son's Robin Hood hat which is very simple and oh so cute. And yes, it's green. Like Robin Hood would wear anything less?

So I should be shipping these outfits out by Saturday and then I can start on the other clients gown. She wants a fall colors plaid. I think I found what she would like but she hasn't said one way or the other yet. Maybe tomorrow...while I'm at work.....::sighs::
