Update on the tent!
Jan. 31st, 2006 10:46 pmOkay, So I set up my tent on Saturday...or rather the sun canopy I bought to change into a medieval looking tent. It's not that hard to set up but un snapping the pieces is extremely painful. My thumbs are still red. At least I managed to get measurements.
I also found out that, although it's VERY waterproof...it is not wind proof. It blew into the nieghbors yard.
I didn't have it roped down. I did have it staked down somewhat but that didn't work. I'm sure that with the 20 yards of heavy water treated canvas and the ropes, that thing will be a fortress!
