updates and stuff

The above is a bad picture of the fabric for the gown. The velvet is really more of a dark teal and the silk is more of a darkish copper/gold. But at least everyone should get an idea as to what it looks like.

In other news, another client would like a black velvet dress. I'm not sure what her contrast color will be yet but it's also going to be a tudor.

And in yet other news, I've been asked to vend at another Renaissance festieval...again. I'd love too, really...but I just don't have a lot of ready made things to actually vend yet. Once I get all this housing stuff figured out (Possibly a lot earlier than I thought right now. I found a gorgeous place in Alexandria that I've fallen for. But we'll see. If nothing else, I will definatly have my own home by October) I might seriously consider vending at a fest but I just can't right now. I have no room to hide a few dozen gowns and bodices!
