I set up my computer finally! Since there isn't any cable/telphone like jacks in the addition, but I wanted to set my computer up in here, I'm on a wireless network. Yes, not as safe but honestly? If someone even thinks about hacking into my network and taking my info, they will learn "trouble" quickly. I know people who would happily prosecute them...and quickly.

Anyways, I have realized I really do have too much fabric and will be selling some more in a couple of weeks. I'm putting a lot of it out in the shed (as soon as I get that cleaned up) and just not buying any fabric unless absolutely necessary (meaning I'm in a middle of a project and just need a yard more of [insert fabric here] or else I won't be able to complete it). I found some gorgeous beaded organza I had forgotten about and really want to use it on a purple verzion of the "Just Breathe" Gown by the end of the year.

Speaking of purple, I have this to die for "renaissance purple" jacquard that has an "old gold" vine pattern on it. The pattern is big and reminds me of grape vines. I'll take a picture of the fabric by the end of the week hopefully. I keep wanting to make something out of it but can never settle on what. I'm thinking an early 16th c Italian surcote sorta like the overdress in this drawing on [livejournal.com profile] realm_of_venus's site. It would look neat over a tan or other light off white colored gown and I have plenty of tan/gold fabric to make a nice underdress to match but I can't decide if that's what I really want to do. Any other suggestions?
