First, Mom's dress and Mom's Turkish coat. I also need to embroider the tunic top and finish working on my 18th c corset (yes, I have been working on it). I'm almost finished with the sleeves for the Venetian gown but I ran out of thread. I'll go get some more tomorrow. All of that, within itself, should hold me for the rest of the month.
For April, I will get the Gold Court gown (Ever After) and the Pink Venetian done. I will. I need too. I would also like to start on the gothic fitted gowns.
Maybe, after all of that but sometime BEFORE MD fairy fest, I'd like to get a fairy gown done. One idea is to take my old bridesmaid gowns (two of 'em, both lilac), combine them, and make them into something wearable for the Fairy fest. I've seen it done with wedding gowns before so why not a bridesmaid's gown? (You can see one GORGEOUS example here.) I might need to add some trim or scraps but that would be easy to make it look "fairy" like.
My other idea is just to use this odd "bubble" looking crinkle poly stuff I bought ages ago 'cause it was pretty and this purple/blue/red "sparkley" cotton fabric and maybe some old lace to make something fairy looking. I also could go back to my idea I had back in 1999 and make one out of white velvet, pink velvet, and black lace....I have the fabric...I've had it for years; I just am the biggest procrastinator ever.
So, yes, many gowns on the docket right now. This is all the be done before the middle of May. Umm...yeah...this should be interesting.
