Eleanore Sleeves

Just a quick note. I don't like one of the roundels on the left sleeve so I'm taking it apart slightly. I'm just going to re-do those and then finish up the sleeves. Pictures by Monday, hopefully! I had cut all the bias strips for the sleeves yesterday. I might need a couple of more but I don't think it will be more than that. If you look really closely at the sleeve closest to you, towards the torso, you'll see the same edging treatment as the neckline of the dress going down each of the strips for the sleeves. So, hence a lot of bias strips for the sleeves! Good thing I keep all the scraps...

Postin' like it's going out of style...

Tee hee! I thought a few of you might like to know what the heck I was wearing every Friday or Sunday night in the 1990's. Well, in honor of the movie coming out yesterday, and that I hope to see today, here it is:

So, basically, this is how I dressed weekly from the early/mid 90's until the end of the last century. The shirt is HUGE but I remember how that was the style back then. Far different from my super snug tees of today! :-) Now, to go out in public like this...with maybe a different chap stick. The white one just isn't working.

Scare of my life

or at least in the top five. I had just gone in to put the mail down on the table when I hear Shiloh barking in the front lawn. This is normally nothing but some poor people trying to walk down the sidewalk in peace.
So I calmly walk back outside to yell at Shiloh when I see what he's barking at. He's not barking at the sidewalk but at the rowhouses. I immediately look to the gate and yeap, Ginsie escaped...again.
