Updates

I forgot my embroidery bag at the hotel in Hampton. Eek! Luckily, they found it and are mailing it up today.

I have 1/4 of a blanket done. I'm knitting the tye-dye wool I got at Jamestown 2007. It's really gorgeous stuff and I wish I had gotten a lot more but it was hand spun, dyed, and cost about $20 a skien so... I need to get some blue-green wool yarn to finish another 1/4 or maybe some pink. Etsy, here I come!


I'll need to finish cleaning up my house tonight and then go to the renn fest with one of my very good friends tomorrow, hopefully. I'll probably work on a couple of projects tonight (hopefully not start anymore!) and post pictures!

Today in which I....

...narrowly avoided starting another project. But I need a new gown for this weekend and the Holbein Venus one wouldn't be that hard...

...figured out that yes, I probably shouldn't go alone to freakin' Colorado Springs to present our computer program. I will have backup.

...got my embroidery bag back! Yea!!!!

...found some lovely wool yarn in my stash that looks scrumptious against the yarn I already knit in a quarter of a blanket. And I think I have enough of it to make the 1/4 blanket to at least 1/2 a blanket! Win!

...called one of best friends to find out she's going with me to the renn fest tomorrow. WooHoo!!!

...found out that all the paperwork I needed was sent to the other office....across town. Monday will involve me running around NoVa and DC again just to get signatures and work handed in. Not fun.

...that it really was just the old boss (evil evil thing that he was) that didn't like it when I wore jeans and t-shirts on Fridays.
