...So....I might not get there by 10 but I will be there. I finally finished my dress and I LOVE it. I don't care that there are about 20 million different things wrong with it (probably), I love it. It's just very me...

I ended up making a built in pair of stays sort of into the dress because the stays I did make really are too big.

Me, just a couple of minutes ago. :-)The front is laced underneath and then pinned over because I don't have the slightest idea as to where all my hooks & eyes went. I think they ran away or Ginsie took them. I'm not sure.

The underskirt.

The basis for this outfit. I tried to stick to most of the seam lines but I had to add the black ribbon to the front. It really just set the outfit off.

The dress is NOT perfect but it's comfy and I like it and hopefully it looks close enough to something 1780's that no one will giggle too much at it....

Fort Fred!

I just wanted to make a quick note and send out hugs to all those that made it and didn't make it to Fort Fred today. It was great to see everyone and, despite it being a bit warm (92?!? Really? It didn't feel 92....more like 82...) it was a BEAUTIFUL day. I loved seeing everyone else's outfits (I think I need one of everything....) and just getting to spend time with everyone.

...If this doesn't make sense, I only got out of the dress an hour ago and I'm working on three hours or so of sleep. Hopefully, that's a good enough excuse...
