Civil War Ball anyone?
Nov. 28th, 2009 10:02 pmI've decided not to go through with the Dec 13th Mount Vernon trip due to all the other things going on that day. But, I did find out something interesting today that might be just as fun (if not more fun).
Westminster, Maryland is hosting a Civil War Ball March 27, 2010. Period attire is very much requested. It's $20 to attend. I'm sending in my reservation on Monday.
They will have period dancing, dance instruction, light refreshments, door prizes, and fun ...according to the brochure. It's from 8 pm until 11 pm. It looks like a lot of fun and a good excuse to make a Civil War gown! Anyone else want to go?
