Since I am sick...
Feb. 18th, 2010 05:06 pm...It's just a little cold. I just could NOT wake up and when I did it was all "Oh! Pretty colors!" which means I probably have a migraine coming on. I don't always get the pain with migraines but I do get that oh so fun dizzy spell and auras that come with them. It's not a good time to try and drive...or walk really.
Anyway, since I can't work on anything right now, I think I'll just wear either my purple linen 1550's gown this weekend or my black taffeta gown I made last fall and I didn't get to wear. I might just end up wearing something else altogether but it won't be anything new, unfortunately.
My next sewing project will be a new Turkish coat. I'll be able to work on that on Sunday. I'm still not sure what color to make it but I'll figure that out soon enough.
I did look through my closet, briefly, where I keep all my antique clothing. Does anyone want to see other time periods? Accessories? Any preferences? I have a couple of stomachers that I could put up and things from the late 19th into the early 20th c (a couple of Edwardian dresses, a prairie dress, chemise and some late 19th c traditional Eastern European dress).
