A lot of people are leaving today for Land Grab and all. I so wish I could but I can't get off work. The temps, so far, look like it will be a pretty decent two weeks.
I'm planning on leaving Thursday immediately after work. I'm just going to get in the truck and GO until I get to Pennsic (at uh....1 or 2 in the morning?) I'm crashing in one of the empty tents that will be up (a few people aren't coming until War Week but their tents will be up) that night and just get everything out and up in the morning when I can make noise and not worry about people waking up.....as much.
I need to clean a couple of gowns still and repair a couple too. Some repairs I can just do at Pennsic (like adding lacing rings) so I'm not worried about it. Others, where I have to take off the entire skirt and rework it to the bodice? That's getting done tomorrow. :-)
I'm going to try to go with only Italian outfits this year...we'll see how long that lasts!
