No pictures but...
Oct. 5th, 2010 11:31 pmI did wear a kilt I made out of the pretty pink plaid to work today. I also made a matching scarf. It came out pretty cute and it was super warm which was awesome since it was all of 58 today, I think. Um, wasn't it like 90 a week ago or so?
Why did Summer and Winter decide to skip Autumn?
I need to go to Joanns and get some gray thread since mine has gone missing. I'm trying to finish up yet another work dress and then I might try to sew something Renaissance related. I really want to work on a couple of projects but I've been heavily distracted (the whole job thing and the whole new nephew thing).
Before Christmas, I want to work on an 18th century gown. I'm going to use some of the green silk I have and this lovely red pre pleated trim I bought in NYC for a "festive" 1770's gown. ...and, so I have somewhere to wear it to, maybe a party? Or maybe just a random attack on Williamsburg in costume in December? Or just Mount Vernon? Hmmm...must think on this....
