Cleaning report

Other than seriously needing to vacuum, pretty much everything is done. Only the guest bedroom is still in shambles but there's a good reason for that (the daybed is in pieces and, therefore, everywhere). There is so much stuff I'm getting rid of, I'm not exactly sure how it fit in the house to begin with. I'll probably have to do another cleaning in about a month -after I get use to seeing floor again- but everything is perfectly livable for now.

Of course, it's three in morning and I need to get up at six. Is there even a point to going to bed?

Yard Sale

I didn't sell much but everything I took out of the house is in the shed. My Mom and Dad stopped by and helped me put everything in there.

It was so funny when they stopped by. My parents are use to my house being...small. Too small. Dad waited outside with Shiloh while Mom went to get Ginsie's leash so they could take the dogs for a walk. I was talking with one of the customers and I thought for sure she must have seen the inside of the house but..nothing. She just hooked Ginsie on the leash and took her for a walk. I was terribly confused. I found out later she only cracked the door open to reach around and grab the leash. She knows where I keep them.

It wasn't until they came back that both my parents went inside my house. After one entire minute, Mom came running back out shouting "I love it!" She was grinning and Dad was even having fun. He was shocked the blue chair was a recliner and ran back in to try it out. Both of them want one and told me to keep my eye open for more chairs like that.

I'll take pictures of the finished room in a couple of weeks. I want to get the new curtains finished and up first. It is much roomier than it has ever been though and Dad thinks I need an astrolab for the room. He's convinced it's steampunk. I'm calling it post-neo-Regency. For now. I'm honestly not sure what to call it other than an influx of medieval and Regency using modern color tastes... Alright, pictures in two weeks.
