Sewing!

I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted done simply because my allergies and I had a disagreement. I really need to take my allergy meds given this time of year. The problem is they make me incrediably sleepy and grumpy. I don't want to be sleepy and grumpy!

Anyway, I did get some sewing done. You can see the update at http://isabelladangelo.blogspot.com/2011/04/pictures.html. The 16th Century surcote really looks neat on and I can't wait to wear it.

More Sewing

I sewed up most of my new pink petticoat. I'm adding the green trim around the hem to match the gown I already have. I'm adding it by hand because I'm trying (hard) not to have any visible machine stitching on any of the clothing. It's sort of pointless on the Elizabethan Surcote, really, given that it's machine embroidered but eh. It works.

Tomorrow: Finish up the pink petticoat, work on the aqua Italian gown, work on the 19th C corset like I was supposed to today and that should be it. Everything else is minor mends that I can either do at the hotel or over the weekend assuming I don't try to crack out another project...
