I know I promised pictures but...

The overskirt is being evil. All those tiny pearls on the silk organza have to be cut out within a half inch of the seam just so the sewing machine will sew it up properly. This, of course, is taking a bit of time. I have half the overskirt done, the underskirt done except the hem, and sewed up all the bodice pieces at the shoulders. I also made trim!

I took some simple jewelery wire and some nuts (the kind as in bolts and nuts, not peanuts) and crocheted a bit of trim for the upper gauntlet. It looks very steampunky. Now to finish up the overskirt, finish the trim for the other arm, and then twiddle my fingers until the bodice embroidery pieces get here.

I'll probably work a bit of the denim bustle tomorrow since I do have all the pieces for it. Or, at least, work on a corset...
