isabelladangelo: (freedom to play)
I'm just thinking of all the lovely fabrics I have at home -most of which have been predestined to become various items like a Cranach gown, an Elizabethan, an Edwardian, ect- but I do have this one piece of GORGEOUS red wool that is too heavy for a dress. I'm thinking a cloak or a cape but I'm never sure. I've had it for a while. There is at least 3 yards -probably more like 5. Since I'm not at home, I can't check. It's a medium to heavy weight wool and it is 100% wool. I can't even remember where I got it. I just know it's been in the stash for a very long time and wants to be made into...something. Any ideas? It's a good rosy brick red and, like I said, it's heavy. I'm open to any era. It would have to be for a winter event. I was thinking a Norse coat but that wouldn't use it all up.
