I just posted the above link on my other blog. It's a late 1770's gown in really amazing condition that was up on ebay last week. It's pink and green (and white) stripes. You'll want to see it.
Today is garbage and recycling day for my street. This means I was running around at 7:30 am trying to get all the recycling out. For some reason, the trashmen can go inside the garbage shed but the recycling guys "aren't allowed" anymore. Or so I was told. Yeah, I don't get it either.
Anyway, I had to pull the blue recycling container out of the garbage shed. When I picked it up to but the bin next to the gate, I saw...a snake. It turns out that it's a Northern Brown snake -after I did some research on it, perfectly harmless- but that was still not what I was expecting to see in my garbage shed. I warned my neighbors -the last thing I want is either my dog or their dog or especially their toddler to get bit (the dogs might know better).
I've discovered a flaw in the new Firefox browser. Well, not a flaw, technically, but I know it will affect some of you that have websites. if you use the typical javascript code to prevent right clicking, it can be disabled in the new Firefox browser by continuing to try to right on the same image. The first time, the typical warning comes up ("Don't steal/Right Click disabled/ect"), the second time, there's a check box with the warning that will allow you to get rid of the warning balloons. On the third right click, you can save the image. It doesn't seem to affect links -just photos.
