I saw that someone tried using the tags over here on dreamwidth to find my 16th Century stuff. I'm sorry to say I haven't used tags in a while. A long while. Like two or three years. Well, except for the "Ginsie" tag and even that hasn't been a perfect science.

If you'd like to see any of the 16th Century stuff I've done over the past year, please, just ask. I'd be happy to point it out. Otherwise, you'll be stuck looking at stuff I probably don't even wear anymore or already donated. Eeck! :-)

Now, for everyone else - I will be sewing tonight! I'm thinking a red velvet kirtle just for the fun of it. I'll see what I really have in my fabric supplies this afternoon.

BTW, Holiday Faire is tomorrow. It's an SCA event and I'll probably show up around noon or so. It's great if you like shopping. :-) I always find something good at the event and I'd encourage everyone to come. The website gives a lot more detail about the event in Manassas, VA.

Rule 27: Must Have Cat

IMG-20111118-00148

The poor little thing is eating Miss Ginsie's food in the picture. Don't worry, I'll get her real food if she's with me for more than a day.

So, the story. I'm watching Kitchen Nightmare's when I hear "Meow?" At first, I ignore it, thinking it's my neighbor's cat, but the meowing was very, very loud. My neighbor's cat is never that loud. I try looking out back but the meowing wasn't coming from there. I then try looking out the front door but I don't hear it there either. The meowing would start and stop. I basically did say a little prayer -because I did not want a kitten out in the cold!- that if the meowing started again, I'd get my shoes and coat and find the cat.

She meowed again. I went out and...she was stuck in the crawlspace beneath the townhomes. My neighbor's and I coaxed her out. It took a bit of doing since she's clearly terrified -I would be too- but she's a very friendly kitten. Since my neighbor's dog is BIG -though very friendly towards cats- I figured it was best for me to take her for the night. Ginsie can be contained pretty well...Roman? Not so much.

So far, the cat seems fine with Ginsie. She'll hiss if Ginsie is annoying her but that's it. Ginsie...well, Ginsie is so terribly excited, she just had to use her puppy pee pad. She thinks this is the BEST. DAY. EVER.

I'd type more but my attention is being demanded...kitten and pup!
