Christmas Tea Post!
Dec. 4th, 2011 09:41 pmFirst, Jasper in a Santa Hat because he needs to learn how cruel I really am somehow! *giggles*

Second, the tea went fantastically! I had a fabulous time and the cakes, sandwiches, and other yummies were all great as was the tea. We all ended up in a Navy video for the Army/Navy game (in which Navy will win, again. Just sayin'). Honestly, everyone in Annapolis seemed very amused or otherwise pleased to see us in full 18th C.

Today, I went Christmas shopping and saw da nephews. Marxer was pleased as punch to see Aunt Sissy. Odin gave me all sort of smiles and thinks my braid is a fun toy.
I ended up with a stool from Ikea. It doesn't have a cover (it was missing which means I got it 20% off) but I can make one. It doubles as a footstool. I also got lovely peppermint stick solar powered lights that change color to put outside. I don't have an outside socket so I can't put up outdoor lights normally. It's not much but it looks pretty cool.
And now, I'm going to go knit a baby blanket for the neighbors...
