While I'm working on the green dress

My new overcoat for Pennsic! This was a UFO project that had been someone else's UFO project. The velvet was cut and sewn at the shoulders and side seams but that was it. It was way too long for me so I cut a few inches off in the front particularly and made the tabs from that. The tabs are lined with pink linen. I ended up lining the coat with half of the silver faux strapworked silk you see, and some cotton blend damask in the back where you won't see it. The coat should be nice and warm even without sleeves. I think I'll wear it to Atlantia Court just because. :-)
