I'm working on a 1790's Regency gown out of some red on red striped silk that was original tan on white striped silk. I dyed it a year or so ago after I bought it. It was one of those fabric dot com finds and I'm not a big tan person. I like reds (for wearing) or purples and blues (to decorate because I look like the walking dead in some blues). So far, everything seems to be coming out okay...
