I made a cardinal cloak for the challenge this time. :-) The pictures that are up right now are horrible because I can't find my camera and had to rely on my camera phone. I promise better pictures tomorrow when I figure out where my camera disappeared too.
This weekend was mostly very very very carefully taking apart a nearly sheer wool skirt to do an otherwise simple alteration on it. The zipper would not behave and I kept having to be ridiculously careful with the seam ripper and not rip the skirt. Luckily, the lady was happy with it today so I can go and work on other stuff now.
I'm sorry I didn't get to the Renn Fest this weekend. Sunday, I was all ready to go and...I put on my dress only to accidently rip the sleeve off. Okay, re sewed the sleeve. Put the dress back on and the lacing rings popped. After that, I realized something was probably telling me to just stay home. I ended up doing laundry and other boring chores but at least stuff got done!
Hopefully, this weekend I'll get there.
Maybe in a new outfit!
