First, I love medieval gingerbread. I don't care if it's spicy enough to give you an ulcer with each bite, it's yummy. It has the consitance of gummy bears without a sugar coating. It's stick and so so so good. Of course that was only ONE of the many many desserts and other dishes I had at feast.

I'm an extremely picky eatter. If it's not steak & potatos or Chinese food, I probably won't like it. But, i decided to try as much as I could tonight. We had bread, salad, peas, spinich (didn't try that), pear pie, shrimp(If I could, I would have eatten them all.), ham (which wasn't on the menu but was very good), some sort of wierd custard pie (didn't try that one), shoe leather...err...roast beef (didn't try that either), some sort of cheese that I didn't try but everyone else loved, sweet rice, bunches of different cookies and probably a few other things I'm forgetting. It was all and all pretty good! I loved the mustard sauce we ahd with the shrimp.

Violante of my shire got Laurel last night so everyone was really excited. But by the time feast rolled around, I was the only one not dragging; which was pretty funny since I only had 5 hours of sleep at most. Feast was all the way down in Hollywood, MD nearish Saint Mary's for those that know that site. It was pretty much a straight shot through town and then down route 5 to feast.

I wore the gown above to feast. It's not the best picture of the gown. It's the red and black Italian that I just finished. I think I might put some pearls along the underbust of the black velvet. That way, It will still go with other gowns but also be jazzed up a bit.

Okay, so on to other news....

The camera, obviously, is fixed! Woohoo! So here are some interesting photos. Most were taken by Miss Abby who is 6 years old and lives down the street. She loves my "Princess Dresses" as she calls them and wanted to "help" to make them. So, I told her she could play photographer! I hope that explains most of the pictures....

The first picture is of the facing of the german gown lying on the floor so I can make sure it's pieced together correctly...hence the lil yellow pins you might see. The next few are of my sewing the lining of the german gown, followed by myself stealing the camera back from Abby for oh...two seconds? Just long enough to see her learning how to sew with a couple of scraps of linen and a sharp needle. :-)

Then...all heck breaks loose! Okay, not really. Abby just ran around the house taking pictures of my brothers and her brothers. The blonde kids are her brothers; Kevin and Will. The others, in order of apperance, are Lee, Joey, and Randy. Of course, she got the two dogs as well. Ginsie came running over to me after the picture was taken, hiding from the camera obessed six year old.

The last picture is a fairly bad one of me in the german gown without the rings put in it yet. It was pretty much done at that point and I was trying to move so that the dress wasn't getting pulled back by the papasan chair's bamboo and, Joey, my brother, took the picture right as I was moving. Hence, the "huh?" expression.

Okay, Time to head off. I'm going to the Walters!
