Mom's kirtle will be finished tonight. I woke up at 6:30. By 7, I had finished the front lining (muslin) of the dress, re-enforced the bottom seam of interfacing (canvas), and had the shoulders of the canvas sewn up...as well as the whole feed the dog, let her out, general waking up stuff. So, I'm pretty sure I can have something for her to try on by tonight.

I also just have to do the finishing stuff on the purple Scottish Italian gown of doom. It's sewn up, I just need to sew the inside waist seam and add the eyelets.

The pink gown only needs 9 more rounded design things. Woohoo!

I will have the fabric/yard sale this Saturday. Now that I have said that, it will rain this Saturday. Thanks, Murphy.

It *looks* like it might be an afternoon thing for now. Afternoon, like after 4, is fine. I'm perfectly happy with a dinnertime T-storm. However, I will glare the clouds back if they even think of coming out before then. :-)

No, sorry! I haven't been to a hair salon in ummm...two years almost now? And even then, that was the first time in close to 7 or 8 years (maybe even longer).

For the wedding a couple of months ago, I did my hair myself. I've given up on finding anyone that will deal with long hair. I might try the beautician school out in Rockville again by the end of the year but for now, my hair is just long.
