That sounds like it was fun... Hubby and I are still wondering if we will do horseradish wars or Nieblungen this year. We don't have that much gear yet and weather is always a concern but there isn't that many events in our region (our shire currently exists of 5 adults that is if you count us and we still haven't done the proper paperwork *sigh*...) Hubby is at least conceptualising armor right now but the horseradish war is in berlin where my parents live so we could go and park the kids at their place...I am glad you, ginsie and your car are ok.
