I went to Wally World on my lunch break to get some sodas to keep in my cubical. While I was there, I went towards the back of the store and saw THEY HAVE FABRIC!!!! Yes, the Wally World near work sells fabric. It's not a huge selection but still, I did find something.
I went to their very small selection of $1.50 bolts and saw a charcoal grey color fabric that looked like linen. I felt it and it felt like linen. I bought 5 yards thinking that, even it turned out not to be linen, it looks good enough to be made into something and it's $1.50 a yard. I can lose $7.50 and not cry.
I just did the burn test and yeap, linen! Yay! It *might* be a linen rayon blend but it's definitely got a lot of linen in it. This with the red orange linen I have on stash might end up as a Flemish gown eventually. I'm not sure. I have plenty to play with though.
And still...SNOW!!!!!! 1" -3" of SNOW!!!!!!! :-D I want to play in the snow.
Now, to knit!
