I'll sew on the other sleeve in a bit. I was trying to see how the black velvet trim looked with the sleeve. :-) I've fixed most of the issues. I'm not happy with the way the skirt is laying but I'm not sure what I can do about it. At least the skirt is DONE and fits!
In the picture, the bodice piping at the bottom isn't done. The sleeve isn't hemmed. I was thinking of adding black lace but it didn't look right to my eye. I'm not thrilled with the black velvet trim either but it's what I have on hand.

Yesterday, Mom, West Coast Mom, and I went to the women's market in the center of Bethesda. Nearly year around anymore, they have several booths set up with various goods. I found these two scarves for $6 each that I think will work well for Gettysburg. I really love the green one. Later, West Coast Mom (my cousin, once removed) and I saw the brooch in the upper part of the picture. It has dried flowers in it. West Coast Mom bought it for me. :-) Later, I realized it matches the colors of the green shawl/scarf perfectly.
