Yes, I realize the velvet is very wrinkled but I kinda like it like that. It is 100% handsewn and the lining is silk charmeuse so I declare it period. :-) (Yes, I know. Rayon plush velvet doesn't count but it's pretty!)
The "18th Century" room. Yes, it's no where near complete and I'm putting the pink fairy comforter in the other room but I had to have something on the twin bed for now. Especially since I've been sleeping in there until I get a full bed for the master bedroom. (Just another two weeks) I did put up curtains and don't have just the pink shawl hanging loosely on the window anymore. I plan on putting in a white and blue toile comforter or white and blue quilt in that room. It should look interesting with the pink curtains. :-)
Evidence we had snow! It might snow again tomorrow. This weather is just so weird.
