How I spent my Saturday.
Apr. 15th, 2007 06:46 amSo, yesterday I went Night on the Town and it was a ton of fun. I got a copy of Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe for $50 so I'm extremly happy. Yes, I've been drooling all over the thing all night....might explain why I'm so tired now but oh well. I also bought a lovely hat pick from a shop the
attack_laurel knows well.
It's really funny but it seems a lot of people have ntoiced a change in me since I've been on day shift. I actually have energy to do stuff and also no more dark circles under the eyes. (WooHoo!) So yesterday I was running around everywhere and really didn't like sitting down for long. (It's okay, my pretty chair got plenty of use from other people)
I wore my black tudor gown with the red velvet front. I think it was my first tudor gown but I've jazzed it up a lot since I first made it and it doesn't look too terrible. :-) Anyways, I was going to wear my Holiday Faire gown which is a black brocade with red flowers 1500 italian styled gown. Aularia wore a gown she bought at Holiday Faire that was of the matching black brocade (I got the large pattern. The pretty gown she has is in the small pattern.) I told her to tell me next time she wears it so well match.
I got to be a retainer for the Queen as well. How good I was at that is probably pretty much on the low scale but it was fun and I learned a lot and I'd love to do that again. I saw
feymaker shopping and while playing retainer. Pretty scrolls! so all and all, it was fun even if Miss Ginsie couldn't come for some reason. (The other group there did have dogs so I'm not quite sure where the problem lies...)
