Looks like I'm going to stay home again today

I woke up and thought about going. I really did. But considering I can barely sit up straight and reading this screen is hard....and suffering like this through training is well...double suffering, I just don't want to go. I'll go on Friday but not today...

Edit: So I got up after I wrote that nonsense and got dressed. I picked up the pup and got her into the truck. By the time we got to exit 28 (I'm off of exit 23) on 495, I wanted to turn around. By exit 30 (remember, beltway traffic so this was a few minutes apart) I called in sick. I barely managed to get to my parents house and get inside. I was so nauseous!

So now I'm here and probably won't leave for another hour or so. Mom gave me Ginger Ale and Dad gave me a light for my attic. :-) I really needed one so I'm really happy about that. That attic is scary!

so i guess my 'glad you're feeling better' comment was premature... so glad you made it to your parents' house, though. Sounds like Mom and Dad will be taking good care of you. Give my love to Ginsie!

They did. It seems to be motion that causes it. As long as I sit still or lie down, I'm okay. So no more car for the rest of the day!

Ginsie is shedding like crazy. She's never been this bad before, ever. I think she had a fever yesterday and she's getting rid of her undercoat now. I'm collecting the fur just to card and spin it into yarn.

Whoa. You can make a Ginsie blanket! Well, if she sheds enough. Maybe a Ginsie tea cozy? How much fluff does it take to make a decent skein of yarn, anyway?

About a plastic bag full of fluff is enough to make a decent skein. If this keeps up, I'm saying by the end of the month, I should have enough. It will probably be more like August though...maybe I'll sit and spin at faire?
