The Viking outfit

The underdress is done. I had to cut it and re shape it a bit but it looks a 1000 times better than when I had originally sewn it up. The sleeves are still a bit long but I'm just going to roll them up. The shoulders are actually in the right spot now (and not half way down my forearm). I thought I had marked everything properly before cutting it and ummm...no. Every single dimention was two inches too big. Every. Single. One. Oh fun.
Now, I'll remeasure the apron dress pieces tonight and make doubly sure that they are okay before sewing that up. That shouldn't take too long...hopefully.

How long are you making the apron dress? I've tap-danced around the idea of making one just below knee length to wear as a mundane jumper too .....

It's about tea length. I made it so it's tight around the bust and flares at the hips. Hopefully, I'll get pictures of the full outfit up tomorrow afternoon/night.
