I took this a couple of minutes ago and I'm dead tired so the photo is really terrible of me. Yes, I know I look like an American Indian girl dressed up in Viking...it's the braids...and DNA. This is how the Norse/Viking outfit came out. All and all, I don't think it looks too bad. There are a few things I'd do different (like use a tape measure every single time I cut the fabric) but it's definitely wearable and will probably become "Pennsic" garb in the future.
I love this linen. I originally had 22 yards of the blue linen and I'm down to three. I've had it for a while. I managed to get four dresses and a skirt out of it. The red/white linen is really neat stuff to work with. It's light weight and a fairly loose weave. (Not see-through loose but it was super easy to punch holes in for eyelets so I could clasp the "pin" on to the apron dress.)
The event was a lot of fun. I'll post more later on it but right now I'm really tired and everything sounds funny so I'm going to bed. Night!

Thanks! It will be worn again...during Pennsic. I will have more mud garb this year. That way, according to Murphy's law, there will be no mud and it will be nice the entire time. (Or it will be too darn hot or too darn cold the entire time...)
